A Fishing Family

Adam, Kayla, and Hannah Pugh are originally from White Lake, Ontario. They met working for Adam's family Resort, Cedar Cove Resort, back in 2011. 

Adam has a Diploma in Advanced Fishing and Wildlife Technology, and has had a passion for fishing and the outdoors since he was a child.  

In 2006, his family moved from the city of Barrie, to little old White Lake Ontario to start their own dream of owning a Resort.

Kayla has a Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Bookkeeping, and absolutely enjoys working in the hospitality and tourism industry. Born and raised in the small town of Arnprior, Ontario,  Kayla has worked in countless restaurant and hospitality environments and can't wait to create her own. 

Adam and Kayla knew from the beginning of their relationship, that they wanted to provide amazing fishing experiences for others. They spent the summer of 2012 at a remote fishing lodge in Sioux Lookout, and the summer of 2014 at a fishing lodge in Marten River.  These summers taught Adam and Kayla much about running a fishing lodge, and how to cater to fishermen successfully.

After running his own business doing Fishing Charters and renting Ice Bungalows on White Lake for over 7 years, in mid-2019 Adam found that Loon Lodge was for sale. He booked a trip with his fishing buddies and fell in love with the area, as well as the island that is Loon Lodge. 

Adam, Kayla, Hannah, and their dog Smokey can't wait to welcome you to Loon Lodge and the amazing fishery that is here in Lake Temagami.
