Located in the heart of the hub of lake Temagami Loon Lodge offers the perfect location for Lake Temagami's only water taxi service.
Adam the owner of Loon lodge operates the water taxi service from ice out to November 1st each year. You are in good hands knowing that we are fully insured, and commercially registered. Adam has also been behind the wheel of a boat for the previous 15years as a fishing charter captain and running much larger taxi boats in remote areas. Adam's 20ft Kingfisher Falcon powered by 150hp Yamaha outboard engine is equipped with up to date navigational and communication instruments. Adam also has all the marine credential's and advanced first aid required to offer this service.

Water Taxi Service
-Water taxi runs from 9am to 5pm 7 days a week
-Water Taxi Rate is approximately $19/km
-Maximum 6 people
-Pets allowed (must not be aggressive and have previous experience on a boat)
-Season: Ice out to November 1st
-We do not operate taxi services in winds greater then 40kmph, or during thunderstorms. Weather conditions that cause poor visibility such as fog or snow may require us to postpone or reschedule bookings.
-Please reserve water taxis well in advance - emergency taxi rates will be applied for bookings made less then 4 hours in advance.
-Minimum $50 fare
Emergency Taxi Services
Emergency taxi rates will be applied to bookings made before 9am or after 5pm. Emergency taxi rates may be applied to bookings that are made less then 4 hours in advance. Emergency Rates: additional $25 within the hub, $50 if traveling outside the hub.
